OptogeniX (Italy)

OptogeniX was established in 2014 as a spin off of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia with the mission to design, produce, and sell technologies for optical and electrical neuronal interfacing based on tapered fibers. The patented and patent pending exploitation of light delivery/collection properties of tapered fibers when operated with special light delivery/collection methods are currently exploited in many neuroscience labs in Europe, USA and rest of world thanks to OptogeniX implantable tapered-fiber stubs and opto-mechanical equipment.
